Will O’Brien is a seasoned technology entrepreneur and executive with deep expertise in bringing innovative and disruptive businesses to market. He is also active in the early stage ecosystem, as an investor and advisor.
Will most recently co-founded and was CEO of BitGo (https://www.bitgo.com/), the leading bitcoin security company and a pioneer in multi-sig technologies. BitGo raised more than $14MM in venture financing.
Will was previously an executive at Big Fish Games (social casino, casual games) where he led Corporate and Business Development. Big Fish was acquired by Churchill Downs (NASDAQ: CHDN) in 2014.
Will also held leadership roles at TrialPay (in-app payments and advertising) acquired by Visa in 2015, Random Walk Computing (real-time trading technology) acquired by Accenture in 2006, and has founded and operated his own startups in consumer Internet and media.
Will is an accomplished public speaker and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Forbes, Fortune, AllThingsD, BusinessWeek, and various industry press. He is a regular presenter at industry conferences and appeared on television and in film. Will holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a B.A. in Computer Science from Harvard University.
